Hello, a friend gave me some advise how you could save framerates in a scenery.

1. You model the doors of the terminal which is a bit stupid because you won't see the difference if you texture the terminal.

2. It's good to use a photoreal map for the airport and his surroundings.

There are a lot of different techniques how to save frames...
But remember: to much eyecandy results in loss of frames on final approach ;)
That's the problem I have on SDG -HESH now

A model like Marsa Alam is very frame rate friendly and tested in flight simulator, so for now we don't have any issues for this airport, as for Sharm that's why we are redoing the terminal from scratch for FSX and as an update for FS9.

We may not add a photoreal map for the mesh scenery for HESH X, and I hope that you will be impressed of the new HESH Terminal 3 look :).

I'm really looking forward to a new Sharm update for FS9 because I hate the framedrops on final :x

But I'm glad to hear that Marsa Alam will be framerate friendly :D

Ok, I understand that photoreal satelite images are not cheap ;)
Great you're making a mesh for Sharm , will the FS9 update include this mesh to?
And can you confirm that the HESH mesh will be compatible with the existing egypt mesh available on FLIGHTSIM.COM ?

If we managed to do a mesh for FSX then will be there in FS9 as a service pack, and I am not sure that it will be compatible with other meshes available.

After sharm X release, it's time now to move on to Marsa Alam Airport, the ground work is about 80% done, just some effects, dirt, details and fixes are going to be added.
